CREATING A NEW ACCOUNT
How to create your account
Once you have "clicked" on "New Users" as shown in the example above, you will come to the following page:
The information
on this page is used in order to create a web account for
you to use for shopping at the web site.
Information followed by a red asterisk is information that is required in order for the form to be completed. Not filling out a field with a red asterisk will result in returning you to this form with notes about which fields still need required information.
Most of the information requested is self-explanatory. The following is an explanation of those fields which may be more vague:
CUSTOMER NUMBER
If you
have ordered from us before, whether it was on the web or
with a sales representative, you have a Customer Number established.
If you
can find a copy of an invoice or packing slip from a previous
purchase, your customer number is located on the left side
of the invoice, above the item listings, under "Ship
Customer." If you cannot find a copy of your Customer
Number, you may leave it blank or call your Sales Representative,
or Customer Service at 1-888-289-4277 in order to find out
what it is.
In the
event that you have ordered from us before, but are unable
to include your Customer Number when creating your web account,
your information will still be accepted. However, your
initial order may be delayed slightly.
If you do not have a Customer Number, one will be created for you when your first order is processed.
Note: Customer Numbers always begin with a LETTER, so if the first character in your Customer Number looks like a number "5," it's actually a letter "S."
LOGIN ID & PASSWORD
Your login ID should be a word or name that you can remember. It is required to be 6 characters or longer and have a numeric character (0 - 9) in order to provide you with a more secure and less "crackable" user ID.
The same goes for
your password. Your password should be a set of characters
that you can remember. On the Suzo-Happ web site, it will not
matter if your password has uppercase letters, but like the login
id it is required to include a numeric character (0 - 9) in your
password in order to make it more secure. Retyping the password
ensures that you typed it it correctly.
When you have finished filling out the form, "click" on the "Create" button. This will take you to a new screen where you will either be given reasons why the form cannot be completed as filled, or it will give you an opportunity to verify and change the current information:
You may "click" "Finish" to complete the Login Creation process, or you may "click" "Adjust" to go back and change any of the information listed.
Once you "click"
"Finish," you will come to a message telling you that
your submission has been received, and will be given a button
to press in order to login to Suzo-Happ with your new Login ID and
Password.
